ABOUT US
Who are Fifty20?
Fifty20 is a new business that started in April 2025. We are headquartered in a leafy village just outside York in the United Kingdom.
We are a privately owned entertainment business and we take fun very seriously, in fact we’ve made it our mission to bring you the world’s best prize draw experiences and give you awesome things to win.
How did Fifty20 come about?
We have loved raffles since being old enough to have a go (so not very long!) and love to dream about having the awesome things from raffles like watches, bags and cars.
We thought about the people that must run raffles and how much fun it would be just to handle the stuff and give it away - so we decide we'd do that too – and our life’s work is going to be to share that passion and try to bring the fun and enthusiasm to everyone who plays with us.
We felt that the experience on most raffles sites was a little faceless and often lacks the interesting stuff about the prizes that helps the bring the dream to life; of course winning is important, but so is the few minutes a day imagining what it will be like to win, so we are going to try and make that part of the fun for our customers (and ourselves of course).
So we sold the idea to our families and friends and got the funds together to make the idea a reality and we are – Fifty20.com – oh, and the name doesn’t really mean anything, Ram was just messing about on GoDaddy to find cheap dot com’s and found this one for 99p!
The idea, which is now our mission statement, is that whatever we do, you should be part of the journey, so we will bring you inside the operation and show you how we do it and tell you why the prizes we offer are cool - and we hope it will be as much fun for you as we know it’s going to be for us.
FAQS
Playing with Fifty20
What are the advantages of playing with Fifty20?
When you play with us, playing should be just as much fun as winning – well nearly. We want you to enjoy the experience of exploring our site, finding out about the prizes we offer and the unique ways you can play. Put simply, it’s the raffles you love, just better.
Is Fifty20 a licensed gambling website?
No, Fifty20 has no need for a licence because the games have a free entry method of getting a ticket. This means we sit outside the gambling industry although we are committed to meeting the standards of best practice – so we work to many of the standards currently set by the UK Gambling Commission, including limiting the amount of play that you can do to sensible levels and providing tools in your player account to allow you to set additional limits should you wish to. We also publish advice on seeking help should you become concerned about playing raffles being a problem.
Is there a Fifty20 App?
For desktop and Android devices, you can simply add the app from INSTALL APP button the side menu.
For iPhone / iPad you can add Fifty20 to your home-screen without going to the App Store - just hit the share icon in the screen footer when you’re in fifty20.com and then the ‘Add To Homescreen’ option and Bingo! Our tile will be added to your homescreen.
Keeping Up To Date
What social channels can I follow Fifty20 on?
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are our favourites - come and follow us there and leave a few comments and a few likes. Cheers!
Why do I need to register with Fifty20?
When you sign up with Fifty20, playing raffles is just as much fun as winning. By registering on the site, you can find all of your personal information, tickets, your account balance and winnings in one place and of course we know how to get in touch as soon as you win - so please add your phone number so we can call you up if you win. It also allows us to verify your age and identity.
How old do I have to be to play?
Regardless of any local laws in your home country or the jurisdiction, you must be 18 or over to use our site; that is part of our own social responsibility policy.
How does it work?
You just choose the raffle with the prizes that you would love to win, buy a ticket (or more than one if you want extra chances to win) and, If you do win, the prize gets delivered to you straight away. If it’s cash or site credit, you’ll find it in you respective account balance straight away and with cash you can withdraw it at any time. If it’s a prize, we will get in touch straight away to arrange delivery and you can ask for a cash alternative should you wish to for most prizes.
What raffles can I play with Fifty20?
You can currently play ‘prize draws’ and ‘instant wins’ – prize draws generally have one or a small number of prizes and the winner(s) are picked in a draw that takes place after the competition is closed to further entries (either because its sold out or the stated end time is passed) – instant wins may have many prizes that are randomly allotted to ticket numbers before the competition opens (the list of prizes and winning ticket numbers is published at the same time as the competition opens), every entry will have a ticket randomly picked from the pool of available tickets and if it wins a prize you will be notified immediately (and your account will show the prize immediately), there is also a final prize that is drawn after the competition closes that every ticket counts to whether you have already won a prize or not. We are already thinking about how we can improve on the experience with new products and we hope to be the site with the most choice of different competition types by the end of 2025.
How do I play?
It’s very simple. Choose your raffle how many tickets you’d like, put them in your basket whilst you look at some more or go straight to checkout. If you’ve not created an account already you’ll be asked to do so, its really quick to do and you wont be filling out forms forever, then deposit the cash you need to pay for the tickets and check out - it’s that simple. Don't forget us a few details so that we can get in touch when you win. Once your order is confirmed, you can sit back and relax and wait for the result.
How can I change my order?
You can add or delete items from your basket before you finalise your order. Simply click on the bin icon by the item you want to change and then go and shop again for the raffle tickets you do want. Once you have purchased a ticket, it is not possible to cancel the purchase.
Can I play week to week by subscription?
No, it’s possible to subscribe to our raffles currently due to the nature of the changing prices and prizes, but we get the idea that you might never want to miss a draw so we might do some weekly draws in the future for similar prizes (say watches or cars) and offer those for subscription as well as manual entry.
What happens after I place my order?
We will send you an email confirming your order has been received and you can check the status of your order at any time by logging onto your Fifty20 account. There are 5 different order statuses:
-
Active – Your payment has cleared, your order is confirmed and you're all ready to play. Good Luck!
-
Resulted - You have played an instant win and your instant tickets have been resulted - you can find all of your entries and results in the account section under within wallet/raffles. There will also be a main prize that will be drawn after the raffle has closed.
-
Closed – Your order is complete. The results of the draw(s) you were playing have been confirmed and any winnings have been paid out. Thanks for playing.
-
Cancelled - We've had to cancel your order for some reason. It might have been an issue with payment or with your account. No money will have been taken or you will have been refunded in full.
-
Void – Your order is no longer active and has been cancelled. This is unlikely to ever happen, but if it does it will be due to circumstances beyond our control. If payment has been taken, it will be refunded in full.
If there is ever an issue with confirming your order, such as an issue with payment, we will let you know by email.
Will you send me my ticket?
All of your ticket information is stored safely in our systems. You can view your numbers and results at any time in your Fifty20 account and we will let you know when you win.
What is the best time to play?
There is never a bad time to play with Fifty20. You can visit our site at any time to find out about the best raffle options and place your order.
When is my order activated?
We work hard to process customer order quickly and efficiently. Because we don’t need to issue physical tickets, you have more time to make your order and you can play any time up to a few minutes before the draw. Don’t leave it till the last minute though as it can sell out quickly in the run up to the draw and you don’t want to miss out.
How do I know the ticket numbers I’m playing?
You can view your numbers in your Fifty20 account (wallet/transactions/raffles).
What is the difference between an instant win and a prize draw?
With a prize draw, the tickets are sold over a set period and the draw takes place / winners announced at the end of that period (unless its sold our early and we decide to do the draw early too). With an instant win product there are usually a lot of prizes and all bar one of them can be won at the time of purchasing your tickets - we always save a prize for the end though, like a prize draw, so everyone gets a second chance with the instant wins.
What is an Automated Draw?
An automated draw will happen without the live event and simply be timed to happen within the system, which will trigger the draw and results, which will be published in the usual way (see the results section for winning tickets for each and every competition we offer).
Where do I watch the live stream of the Prize Draws?
You can catch us live on Facebook and Youtube to start with and we should add Tik Tok fairly swiftly. You can watch at the stated draw time for each competition. Just go through one of the links on the site.
Are The Draws Fair?
Absolutely, we use a highly sophisticated RNG that essentially shuffles the deck of numbers each time before a draw is made - this is known as the Fisher–Yates shuffle, which is an algorithm designed to randomise a finite sequence. The algorithm takes a list of all the elements of the sequence, and continually determines the next element by randomly drawing an element from the list until no elements remain. The algorithm produces an unbiased permutation with every permutation being an equally likely outcome. Accordingly, we don’t keep drawing from a list of all tickets whether sold or unsold until we get a match, rather only sold tickets go into a weekly prize draw / the unsold ticket into each instant win draw.
Winning With Fifty20
Where Can I See My Ticket?
You can see your tickets in your player account and in our follow up email confirming your entry to a competition.
How Will I Know If I win?
We will let you know by email when you become a Fifty20 winner as soon as the results of a prize draw or instant win have been confirmed. You can also check the winning numbers for each raffle in our Results Pages and you can find your tickets in your player account (wallet/transactions/raffles). Once a raffle resulted any tickets you have in your player account will go blue for a win and gold for a top prize.
How Will My Winnings Be Paid?
Payment of your winnings will be paid based on the following:
-
Site Credits & Small Cash Prizes – will be credited automatically to your Fifty20 account, instant wins will be credited instantly and for manual draws prizes will appear in your account usually instantly following the winning draw taking place (and certainly no more than a couple of hours after).
-
Large Cash Prizes – will appear in your account but will have to be withdrawn to your nominated bank account. Some additional security and identity checks will be needed so we will buzz you to make the arrangements.
-
Small Physical Prizes – these are either delivered by us or drop-shipped to you, so we will email you and let you know the delivery arrangements on the first working day after the draw.
-
Large Physical Prizes – one of us will be in touch on the first working day after the draw to arrange the hand over or payment of your win.
Will I Receive 100% Of My Winnings?
You will always receive the prize you are entitled to – if we have to substitute it for any reason (which is highly unlikely) then we will make sure the substitution is better – if you take a cash alternative it will be at the amount that we publish is the alternative when we open the raffle.
Fifty20 Take A Share Of My Winnings?
No. The price of your Fifty20 ticket is all we will ever take from you. We don’t charge you to process your winnings and we guarantee you will receive 100% of the winnings you are entitled to. Your winnings may be subject to tax if your country requires it (albeit that is not so in the UK currently, where winnings are tax free).
How Do I Collect My Winnings?
As soon as your win is confirmed, your prize will be available:
For cash amounts and site credits, these will show in your account balance.
Prizes will show in your account - all prizes show in wallet/transactions/raffles and cash and site credits prizes will also be listed within your transaction history.
You will be able to withdraw small cash amounts back to your payment card. Larger amounts will be paid to you by bank by transfer immediately upon arrangement with customer services. You will get a number to call in your winners email to arrange this very quickly.
Prizes will either be delivered by courier or by us personally, we will contact you in each case, either by email to confirm the courier and expected date or by phone for larger prizes.
What Are the Odds of me winning?
It changes by draw and relative to the number of prizes, total tickets and tickets sold relative to the following equation.
Star Prize (or any individual prize)
= 1 / Tickets Sold
Any Prize
= Number of Prizes / Tickets Sold
Player Account, Payments and Withdrawals
What Are My Payment Options?
We offer a number of payment options including Paypal, Google and Apple pay, all major credit/debit cards. If you don’t know which payment method to choose, contact us and we will be happy to help.
How Do I Withdraw Winnings From My Fifty20 Account?
Provided that your bank account or payment processor account has been verified, you can request a withdrawal by logging in to your Fifty20 account. Just let us know how much you want to withdraw and we’ll do the rest. Depending on the payment method chosen, it can take anything from a few minutes to a few days. Direct bank transfers are usually the quickest option and will be processed immediately after you have arranged it with customer services.
What is Site Credit?
Site credit are funds that are credited to your account to allow free plays on our site. They are not withdrawable as cash, you’ll have to use them with us to win cash or prizes.
Site Credits are always applied to your purchases ahead of cash. So if you have £10 worth of tickets in your basket and have £5 site credit and £20 cash in your account, we will debit your account at the checkout by £5 site credit first and take the rest from your cash balance (£5).
Why Are Some Payment Options Unavailable To Me?
Most of the payment options we offer should be open to everyone, but some may have a limit on use. If you have any problems, get in touch and we’ll be pleased to help.
Will I Need To Pay Tax On My Winnings?
The vast majority of raffle prizes are tax free. When prizes are over a certain threshold, there may be tax applied by the country where you are based albeit for the UK prizes are always tax free. If you live elsewhere and tax applies to you, we may be obliged to withhold the required amount and pay it over to the relevant tax authorities. With regard to taxation of your winnings in your own country other than when such a ‘withholding tax’ applies, you will be responsible for paying any personal tax liability in the usual way.
Is My Account Information Secure?
When you play with us, we use the latest industry-leading encryption technology to ensure your personal information is always 100% safe. We do not obtain or retain any record of your payment details, which are handled by a payment services provider that we use in common with some mega brands like BMW, Costa Coffee and WH Smith.
What Does My Account Status Mean?
Your account should be shown as ‘active’ when you login. If your account is shown as ‘inactive’ or ‘suspended’ we will contact you to explain the reason why. It may be due to the need for further verification of your personal information or because you have exceeded a spending limit you asked us to apply. In the unlikely event that your account is put on hold and we haven’t been in touch, please contact us ASAP through the live chat so we can sort it out.
Should I Link My Account To My Social Media
Fifty20 is all about having as much fun playing raffles as you do winning them. By linking your account to your social media, you are allowing us to find out more about you and the things you enjoy, so we can personalise you’re playing experience even more. This also gives you the opportunity to share the Fifty20 experience with your online friends and benefit from a referral bonus.

You can decide if you do or don’t want to receive emails and texts from us by logging into your account and selecting your preferred contact options. What do I do if I need help?
We have a live chat agent in the app which you can speak to. It is powered by AI and should give you great answers to your questions, but if it doesn’t don’t worry because we are sat behind the app from 9 to 5 weekdays ready to give a personal answer when the AI runs out of ideas!

Absolutely, keep your eyes on the site and you inbox for our messages about offers and bonuses that we will be giving from time to time.

You can do that from your player account - click on the head and shoulders icon top right and navigate to your Account Info where you can add detailed information so that we can contact you if you win (rather than just by email) and change your details or passwords or access our responsible play tools.
How do you choose prizes?
Choosing the prizes is one of the things that the team at Fifty20 are passionate about. We want to make sure that the prizes we offer are things that we think would enhance our lives and might also strike a chord with you. You won’t find too many Lambos on Fifty20 as who could actually afford to run one, insure one or keep one on the drive at home? Not any of us, so we will try to ensure that prizes are keepers but none the less luxurious and will add a bit of the extraordinary.
Playing Responsibly
What Is Problem Play?
Most people play raffles for the fun of being able to dream about the big win. They buy a few tickets each time they play and it has no impact on their finances.
However, for some people, gambling can become a problem and we consider that although our products are not classed within gambling regulations, raffles could contribute to the same issue.
Problem gambling is a form of addictive behaviour – characterized by play that affects a person’s wealth and/or relationships and is not preventable; even if they realize their gambling is affecting them.
Indeed, pathological gambling has been recognized as a psychological disorder described as ‘persistent, recurring and often increasing gambling despite negative personal and social consequences such as debt, breakdown of social relations and impairment of professional development’.
When Might Behaviour Be Considered Problematic?
The following list of questions offers a means to recognizing behaviours that are indicative of problem gambling. If you answer yes to three or more of the following characteristics, we recommend that you talk to your doctor or a clinical specialist about it:
-
Honestly speaking, would you label yourself a problem gambler?
-
Do you spend a significant amount of your spare time gambling?
-
Do your think about gambling often when you are not gambling?
-
Do you have a tendency to increasing your stakes as you gamble if you are losing?
-
Has your gambling ever affected your finances detrimentally?
-
Have you tried to stop or cut down your gambling?
-
Do you become irritated and frustrated after whilst gambling, or in particular, on occasions when you have tried to stop or reduce your gambling?
-
Does gambling serve as a means of getting away from day to day life, problems or relationships?
-
Have you ever tried to win back losses by taking risks you usually would not take?
-
Have ever you lied about the extent or success of your gambling?
-
Has your gambling ever impacted on your relationships or your job?
-
Have you ever been forced to borrow from anyone to finance your gaming?
Can I Get Help Online?
Yes. We have a number of helpful links in our responsible play policy at this LINK.
Can Fifty20 Help Me?
Our website is equipped with tools that are recognized by regulators worldwide as supporting responsible gambling. They are:
-
Deposit Limiter
This can be accessed through your Player Account settings and allows you to limit the amount you gamble over set periods of time.
-
Once set the limits are implemented immediately.
You may make a request for limits to be removed or decreased by speaking to customer services online or by telephone (see contact us), however, decreases will be implemented only after 24hrs and having had confirmation of the request.
-
Self-Exclusion
You are able to exclude yourself from further play on the Fifty20 site for periods of your choosing.
Your account will be suspended for the chosen period and we will retain your records to ensure that you cannot simply re-enter your details and create a new account.
If you self exclude, you will not be able to reactivate your account in the period of suspension and then only after a 14 day cooling off period from the request.
Charity
Does Fifty20 Have A Charity Policy?
Yes. We have set a clear policy to pay a part of our net profits to charity. We like going to the seaside on the east coast of Yorkshire and often mess about in boats, so our favoured charity for the time being is the RNLI, but if you’ve got something close to your heart, we would like to hear from you as to who we might best support - our gut feel is to go a bit more towards direct action of buying tangible kit for good causes so we can see our contributions put to work as opposed to just sending cash into a larger organisations where it is difficult to follow the impact of our contributions.
